In keeping with the Wingmom brand, a Wingmom Independent Contractor is someone who is caring, compassionate, family oriented, and service driven, who also has the ability to multitask, follow direction well and keep a high standard of customer service at the forefront of all they do. The ability to use technology and navigate new platforms is a plus, as much of the Wingmom communication and scheduling is done online.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

Background checks help us safeguard our reputation by creating safer, more secure work environments staffed by qualified employees. We consider job competence, workplace safety, honesty and integrity core values we strive to have in every staff member. Wingmom Performs background checks through Certn. Their comprehensive probe includes National, Federal, County, State and Global checks in addition to the sex offender registry and a Fraud Abuse Control Information System (FACIS) screen.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

As a trusted business in the community, we have an aggressive and comprehensive hiring process.

  • Review resumes and cover letters to assess applicants' skills or aptitude.

  • Screen applicants via phone call, zoom or in person interview and discuss the skills needed for each service or client.

  • Contact the candidate's references and verify their professional history.

  • Complete Federal and State background checks.

  • Complete a Probationary Period to learn the "Wingmom Way."

  • Complete CPR and First Aid certifications and, when applicable, acquire additional licenses, certifications and trainings to provide the best service possible.
